Book Review: The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society

"I wonder how the book got to Guernsey? Perhaps there is some sort of secret homing instinct in books that brings them to their perfect readers."

I couldn't put this book down!  The time period is post WWII and the story is told through letters.  As the book goes on one finds out exactly what the Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society is and the struggles that the members of the Literary Society went through during the war.  Loved this book!  I wanted to go join their "club"!
